If you play a contact sport, a well fitting mouth guard is crucial to your teeth and jaws being protected from injury. Many injuries are not directly at the front teeth, but involve an ‘uppercut’ type of blow or a fall on the chin which smash the teeth against each other. This can result in not just dental injuries but snapping of the condyle of the jaw near where it meets the side of the head.

These type of injury do not always heal properly often leaving permanent pain and restriction of the jaw opening. We use a laboratory which creates mouth guards that fit well and are comfortable to wear.
